Black return pipe is the most common type of steel pipe. If cold rolled steel is heated to annealing temperature and its surface color turns black due to high temperature contact with air, it is called black annealing steel. Its surface has not been polished, so it is black. The physical properties become softer, making it easier to further weld into steel pipes. The common hardness is 57HRB, but it can also be reduced to a different hardness as needed. The black return tube is a treated A3 material tube designed to prevent rusting. If the treated black return pipe is not properly treated during welding, it may tear. However, this situation is relatively rare, and there are many reasons for tearing, such as water on the surface of the welding substrate, rust on the surface, and incorrect selection of welding rods.
